Welcome to the Swedish go association!

Go is a strategic board game invented a few thousand years ago in asia. Although the game has very simple rules, it allows for complex and deep strategic thinking. Two players place black or white stones on grid intersections with the aim to control a larger part of the board than the opponent. The Swedish go association is a non-profit organisation with the purpose of spreading the interest for the game of go in Sweden. We, for example, arrange the annual Swedish Championship, select representatives for competitions abroad, and represent the Swedish go community in contact with the European Go Federation and the Interational Go Federation.
